Every year, more than 80,000 people are diagnosed with lymphoma – that means every seven minutes, someone in the United States receives a lymphoma diagnosis. Today, more than 700,000 people are currently living with this disease.

In July of 2017 my brother’s girlfriend Colleen told me the devastating news that her younger brother, Brian,  was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  Although at this point I didn’t know him very well, I couldn’t imagine being in Colleen’s shoes.  Knowing a few others who have been diagnosed, a few months later I decided I was going to run another marathon but this one I wanted to put meaning behind.  After seeing what her family was going through – I decided I was going to run and raise money in honor of Brian.  I was accepted onto Team Lymphoma Research Foundation for the Rock N Roll Nashville Marathon in April.

My goal is to raise $1,500. All money raised goes directly toward research for finding a cure. Please join me and support this mission by donating here.

That is why I support the Lymphoma Research Foundation and their mission to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this blood cancer. Thank you for your support!
